I love the first Naked Basics palette from Urban Decay. So when I heard that there was coming to a new Naked Basics I was one happy girl.
I was going to wait to buy until I am going to America in the Spring but then there opened an Urban Decay store in Copenhagen and at that point, I could not resist.

The Naked Basics 2 contains six eyeshadows. Five with a matte finish and one with a satiny finish. Like the other Naked Basics palette.
This palette is cooler-toned that the other Basics palette. These colors are more me and therefore more easy to wear for me that the other Basics palette.
Ther colors are grayer and type based than the first Basics palette. There are also darker shades in this palette. There is only two "base" colors. Those two colors can be used a the first eyeshadow you put on your eyelid. And it has two great crews color and for last, there are two amazing colors to darken up the look that would be great in the outer corner.
The shades:
Skimp: a pale satin nude
Stark: a matte nudeish pink
Frisk: a matte grayish taupe
Cover: a matte brown with red tones
Primal: a muted matte brown
Undone: a matte dark smoky brown
All in all, I am a really big fan of Urban Decay. And I really love this palette.
Like the other Basics palette, this is really great for an everyday use. I like all of the brown tones in the palette. It is really a great thing to have in your makeup collection, so many brown shades in one palette.
The palette is also really travel friendly. You could bring this and some single eyeshadows if you are away for a longer time or just like to have many options.
This is also perfect for a person that want to try some eyeshadows to are just starting out with makeup. I bought this for my sister and my mother and they both really like this palette.
I am recommending this palette to everyone that like a good cool toned palette. Or are starting out with makeup.
Have you tried the Naked Basics 2 palette? And if you have what did you think about it?
Hope you are having a great December month so far.
Love, Caroline Mathilde
