This concealer has been featured in everyone’s 2017 yearly beauty favorites and I totally understands why.
NARS makes some of my favorite beauty products. I love their Sheer Glow Foundation, blushes, especially the one in ‘Deep Throat’, their lipsticks and lip pencils.
The
packaging is very NARS. The concealer comes in a glass pot with NARS signature
matte-velvet finished lid and their logo spread over the top. I like the
sleekness of the packaging and it is differently something I want to take with
me.
I love a
good mat finishes concealer or any makeup product to be exact. I have a
combination to oily skin so all matte I love. This concealer is matte but is a
comfortable matte concealer. It does not look to drying and it can be used
underneath the eyes as a concealer.
The
concealer is full coverage but not too heavy on the skin which I really like
about this concealer. It just blends very nicely with the rest of my makeup
when I apply it. The concealer can be blended with a brush, a finger or a
beauty sponge.
If you use
the concealer underneath the eyes you differently need to set it. It does set
in the fine lines I have under my eyes, but once it is set it really does not
move from the area.
I will
recommend that you pat out all of the creases before you set it with powder.
The
concealer sets on the skin for a long time before it starts budging. Once I
have applied it, it does not set onto the dry patches that I have on my face.
I mean, I
can properly have it on my skin for 7-8 hours before it starts for fate or
‘disappear’. But I also have really oily skin after 7 hours of wearing makeup.
I
absolutely love this concealer and I would highly recommend it if you have oily
skin. I do not know if it is good on dryer skin, since I have combination to
oily skin.
Love,
Caroline Mathilde
