I have really been making my contour game going on at the moment. I just think that is adds more dimension to the face. I really like the hole idea about contouring and I have been working on making the contour more natural looking.
When I saw the NARS Contour Blush in Olympia for the first time last year I thought that the idea was brilliant. I know that a lot of brands makes contour palettes like this one but this one just stood out to be more then others.
I like that you have a highlighter shade and a contour shade.
This mini palette are supposed to add 'natural-lookig dimension for the face' without is looks to hard on the face.
The packaging it the classic NARS back rubbery packaging. Inside the palette you have the products and a full size mirror.
This is great for traveling with both the contour and highlighter shade in on palette. The contour shade looks a bit to orange in the pan but when it comes onto the skin it looks neutral. The contour color is a rosy, medium beige-brown with warm undertones. The highlighter colors is a beige-white with warm undertones. Both of the colors are matte.
The texture of the contour color is very soft, blendable and a bit to powdery in the pan, but it don't appear powdery in the skin.
The texture of the highlighter is also soft, bendable and a bit to powdery. But aging it doesn't come powdery onto the skin. This highlighter is not like other highlighter, because it's matte. I don't use this as a highlighter but more as a powder to set the concealer underneath my eyes.
The contour shade are buildable so you can get a natural look but also a more stronger look, if that is what you want.
This contour blush kit is the lightest one of them. I believe that there are three different color so there are color for a lot of skin tone.
Do you have a favorite contour kit at the moment?
Love, Caroline Mathilde
