Over this weekend I have some things happening today and tomorrow, Saturday. Today I have my friend's birthday party thing and tomorrow I have a big family party thing.
Since I am doing two big things this week I thought that I would show you guys what I will be wearing on my face both today and tomorrow. Since both of the things I am going to this weekend are something that will last for hours I want my makeup to last for a really long time.
So I am going for a base with a long lasting power. To make my makeup hold all day and night long I will use a primer. I am going to use the L'Oréal Nude Magique Blur Cream. I think that this primer is like the Benefit the POREfessional. This primer fill out the pores and make the skin clay and smooth.
I am going to use a full coverage foundation. I am going to use the Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Foundation in color Fair Beige. This foundation does not move on my face when it has been applied. I like the finish this give and of course the coverage.
For the sport that the foundation is not covering I am going to use a concealer. The concealer I am going to use is the NARS Radian Creamy Concealer. This concealer is creamy on the skin and covers the things that need some extra coverage.
To mattify my t-zone I am going to use a translucent powder. The translucent powder I am going to be using is the Rimmel London Stay Matte powder in transparent. This just makes my makeup last longer and mattify my t-zone and face.
To contour my face I am going to be using theBalm Bahama Mama bronzer. This bronzer had that cool gray toned so it is perfect to contour on my fair skintone.
To give my face a little bit of glow I will use the Bourjois Bronzing powder. I have talked about this before and I am bossed with this one.
The last face product that I am going to use is a blush. The blush I will be using this weekend are the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Luminous Flush. I got this blush recently and I am in love with this product. The color is a soft pink with a highlighting look.
Moving on to the eyes, the first product I am going to be using is a primer. I always use a primer when I wear eyeshadow. It comes as no surprise when I say that I am using the Urban Decay Primer Potion. This just makes the eyeshadow stay on all day and night long.
For the eyeshadow I will be using my Marc Jacob palette in The Lolita. I am only going to be using two of the color in the palette. I am going to be using the second to last (from left to rift) all over the list. The color if self is a bonze color with simmer. To blend that eyeshadow out and to define the crease I am going to using the second (from the left side) shade in the palette.
To add a little bit more to the upper lashes I am going to be using eyeliner from L'Oréal. The eyeliner is a bronze color and matches the eyeshadow.
For mascara I am going to be using the L'oréal Falsh Lash Flutter mascara. For me this mascara does not do the biggest things for my lashes. It adds mascara to my lashes and gives them length.
For my bottom lashes I will be using the Clinique Bottom Lash mascara. I like that this really gets all of the bottom lashes.
The last thing on the eye area is the brows. I am going to be using another L'Oréal product. I am going to be using the Brow Artist brow pencil. This product is a great drugstore eyebrow product. I will compare this to the Anastasia Perfect Brow Pencil. The product itself is a waxy kinda product.
To set the brows in place I will be using the Maybelline Great Lash in Transparent.
The last product I will be using the MAC Opera (Toledo collection). Since the eye makeup is toned down I thought that I will be using a red lipstick and Opera is exactly the color that I am looking for.
This is all of the products that I am going to be using today and tomorrow. I like the finish look of all of these products together.
I hope that you all are going to have an amazing weekend.
Love, Caroline Mathilde
