When I saw this, when I bought the original Lorac palette, I knew I needed this palette in my life.
I was pretty pleased to buy both of the palettes and I have love both of the palettes since I bought them.
This Lorac palette looks like the original Lorac palette in appearance of the packaging. The packaging is the same cardboard packaging, just in a gray color instead of a black. The packaging and the finish is the same bides from the color of the palette.
It is al so the same concept with 16 eyeshadows inside. 8 mattes and 8 shimmer/satin/frosted eyeshadows.
When it comes to texture it is also the same. The shadows are buttery, easy to blend, buildable, smooth and soft. The eyeshadows inside of the palette works really well together. And this palette is one of the neutral to the collection. But this neural eyeshadow palette is different than to the other neutral eyeshadow palettes. There are a green, navy blue, plummy and then all of the pretty neutral color.
With all of the colors and finishes inside of the palette you can create a variety of looks.
The shades inside the palette:
Top row:
Buff ia s light yellow-toned matte beige
LT. Brown is a medium matte warm brown
Cool Gray is a matte cool-, gray-toned taupe
Nectar is a light matte peach color with orange undertones
Plum is a dark, matte, plummy purple color
Navy is a dark, true, matte navy color
Charcoal is a medium-dark matte gray
Black is a medium-dark, matte black
Bottom row:
Snow is a brightened white with a frosted/metallic finish
Beige is a peachy champagne color with frost finish
Rosé is a peachy-copper metallic color
Mocha is a frosted, dark brown with slightly reddish under tones
Chrome is a grayish taupe color with a frosted finish
Silver is a light, metallic sliver
Jade is a medium-dark green (almost forest green) with olive undertones and a soft satiny shimmer
Cocoa is a rich reddish medium brown with a soft shimmer finish.
Some of my favorite eyeshadows from the matte row are; Cool Gray, Plum and I am a little bit excited about Navy. Some of my favorites from the shimmer row; Rosé, Mocha, Chrome and Cocoa.
I am as impressed with this palette as I was with the original Lorac Pro palette. I like the colors, the pigmentation, the buildable and the soft and smooth texture. I highly recommend this palette as well as the original Lorac Pro palette.
Love, Caroline Mathilde
