A thing that I hear a lot is that sunscreen is important and it is important. So I am now telling you that sunscreen is important. And I can not tell you enough, how much important it is to use sunscreen everyday.

Even though it is basically autumn already and the rain is pouring down outside, you still need some protection from the sun. Because even though that there are so many skies and it does not look like much sun is coming from the sun's rays come through the clouds anyway.

I get a sunburn so easily because of my pale complexion. I am the kid of all of my siblings that got my moms bad pigment. I can not stay in the sun for more than 5 minuts of so before I get a sunburn, so again sunscreen is very important.

There are so many sunscreen brands out there so you may find it very difficult to find the right sunscreen. I have found my favorites ones by testing a lot of different types of sunscreens.
There's so much information going around about what SPF is, how it works, and which filters (physical, chemical or combination) you should choose.

The most common myth about SPF is that the higher SPF you used, the more protected you are from the sun. It appears that many people believe that it is true and pass on this information to others. It depends on your skin type, weather conditions, and you location on how long your skin is exposed to the sun without sunscreen before getting burnt. Sunscreen extents the time by absorbing (chemical filters) or scattering (physical filters) UV rays and that way protecting the skin. In other words, if you use a sunscreen with SPF10, you can be in the sun 10 times longer without getting burned, and if you used SPF50, you can be exposed to the sun 50 times longer without getting burned. But the truth is that sunscreens (especially those with physical filters) tend to rub off easily when you sweat or after contact with coating, so knowing that you have applied a high SPF sunscreen, you get a false illusion that your skin is protected, while in reality the most sensitive places on your body, such as your face, shoulders, or thighs, ca get really burned.
You would not believe how often this happens to so many people and then they blame the sunscreen, when actually it was them who did not know how to use the sunscreen properly.

Just to be clear I am not a doctor or another health education person, I am just a person how get burned easily and have done a lot of research on the how SPF and UV rays during my life.

So keep in kind that it is not the higher SPF that matters, it it how often you reapply your sun protection.

For sunscreen for my body I have never had any problems finding the right one, it have been which sunscreen I should use for my face that have been the problem. In the spring time I cam across the Biodermax Photoderm MAX Ultra-fluide SPF 50+. The texture of this one is light and it sinks into the skin so fast and prepares my skin for makeup.

A lot of research have been done within the sunscreen industry. I finds it really helpful when every I just want the facts and not al of the blabbering about a certain topic. I am a very logical person, so I am so happy with the facts.

I recently have been informed of this research from the website reviews.com, where the have reviews for everything, like they says themselves. On this website they have an amazing review about why the sunscreen is important for you and which sunscreens is best for different things.

They also come with an amazing explanation on why it is important to use sunscreen and that you need to be aware of the affect of not using sunscreen.

"Protecting your skin from the sun’s harmful rays isn’t just about what you put on — it’s about how you put it on too. According to Dr. Omar Ibrahimi of the Connecticut Skin Institute, “Most people do not apply sufficient amounts of sunscreen to achieve the advertised amount of sun protection.” He suggests the average adult use about a shot glass of sunscreen to adequately cover their body.

Turns out the corny sitcoms aren’t wrong about reapplying all the time, either. Using even the most effective sunscreen isn’t a one-off activity — you really do have to ask a friend to help you reapply every two to three hours or anytime you towel off." (excerpts from the article 'the best sunscreen')

I would highly recommend reading this article about sunscreen and their choses for the best sunscreens on the market. You can read the article here.

My last words for you today is that remember to think about the sunscreen before starting your day. I think that it  is an important step in an everyday life.
