Last week I showed you guys the blush from this collection. And this week I am showing you guys five of the lipsticks from the collection.
I really went all in on the lipstick for this collection. I talked about the packaging last week but I will tell you again.
This collection comes in this beautiful packaging. This collection is a collaboration with fashion and illustration designers Isabel and Ruben Toledo. The packaging has a smooth matte finish, like the NARS' product packaging. Everything is white, black and red with a modern graphic look.
In this collection, there are six lipsticks and I bought five of them. All of the lipstick are in a matte finish and are all in the reddish color scale except one that is nude but still matte.
Even though all of the lipsticks are matte they still have that creamy consistency and do not feel drying on the lips at all. But they are not that hydrating on the lips but when are matte lipsticks that?
They feel comfortable on the lips and you can wear them fro several hours.
Like I said I have five of the shades. I will show you guys three of the shades now and then the last two later this week.
The lipstick shades:
Tenor Voice is a true classic red with a matte finish. It's a rich, brightened red with cool undertones.
Opera is a deep berry red with a matte finish. It's a rich deep red with a berry look to it.
Barbecue is a vivid orange-red color with a matte finish. It's a brightened, medium-dark orange-red with warm undertones.
I am very impressed with these lipsticks. I like the dramatic pigmentation and how long they stay on the lips. If you guys can get your hands on them I would really recommend getting one or more of them.
Look out for the last two lipsticks later this week.
Have you tried anything from this collection? And if you have anything from this collection what did you think about it?
Love, Caroline Mathilde
