So can we just talk about the beautiful Hourglass Ambient Lightning Palette for a minute or five.
Inside the palette you get three of the powders from Ambient lighting powder range.
I have seen this palette everywhere on the internet and I was sad not to get this one when I was in New York.
I think that hole idea of trying three of the powders instead of one is amazing. Inside of this palette there are three powders.
Hourglass describes the powders as:"Create your perfect light with this palette featuring three shades of Ambient Lighting Powder. Each go the high-tech, soft-focus finishing powders recreates an exquisitely flattering light source. The doers can be applied individually or layered to imbue skin with a multidimensional glow."

Dim Light - Incandescent Light - Radiant Light

First of all the packaging is beautiful. The powders come in a sleek and sophisticated packaging. The packaging's color is the same color as the single powders. Inside the palette there are a full length mirror that are the same size as the packaging.

The formulation of all three powders is smooth and soft. I have never tried a finishing/setting powder that is this soft. They bend really easy on the skin.
The powders also smooth the skin's appearance, minimize pores and imperfections, and gives the skin a natural luminosity. These powder are just something nice to add to your makeup routine.

Inside the palette there are the three powders. The shade of the powders is; Dim Light, Incandescent Light and Radiant Light.
If you're unfamiliar with the function these powders performs; they are billed as a personal lighting system, color correcting and highlighting where you need it.

Dim Light is pale, light peachy-beige with neural to warm undertones. This works on my skin tone to warm up my complexion.
Hourglass describes it as: "A neutal pech beige powder that blurs imperfections and highlight the complexion."
Incandecent Light is your classic highlighter shade. It's a pale, light beige-pink with neural undertones. I use this on the top of my cheeks.
Hourglass describes it as: "An opalescent pearl powder that brightens the complexion with a celestial glow."
Radiant Light is a golden-beige with warm undertones. Again I use this powder to warm up my face to add a bit of glow and color.
Hourglass describes it as: "A sun-kissed golden beige powder that enhances the complexion with believable, subtle warmth."

After I have tried these three powders I really want to try some of the other powders from the range that Hourglass have in the permanent line.

Have you tried any of the Hourglass Ambient Lighting powders? And if you have what are your thoughts on them?
