Last month I bought these two blushes. Buying these blushes is probably one of the best decisions I have made in a while. I have only been using then over the last few weeks and I can tell that I really like them and are getting more in the future.
Hourglass describes the blushes as ; "A truly multidimensional blush that enhance cheeks with seamless, soft-focus, and a natural radiant finish."
Firsts lets talk about the packaging. The color of the packaging are a rose gold but more on the golden side. The packaging comes in a square form and when you open the packaging you have the blush and a mirror. The mirror is the same size as the lid of the blush.
On top of the packaging you have the Hourglass logo.
I think that the packaging is sophisticate and very luxuriously looking.
The pigmentation of these blushes is amazing. I like that they a buildable and easy to tone down. But they are on the more pigmented side so I would use a light hand when you apply these blushes.
These are a hybrid blush powder that have what Hourglass calls "Photoluminescent Technology" which gives your blush depth and dimension giving a perfect glow.
The formulation is very soft and smooth and they feel exactly like the Ambient Lighting Powders.
I bought two of the colors; Luminous Flush and Diffused Heat.
Luminous flush is a campange rose color, the blush has coral with warm undertones and have a golden shimmer-sheen finish.
Diffused Heat is a soft reddish-pink color with warm and peachy undertones and have sparkles and luminosity to it.
I can say that after I have tried these blushes I really want to try more of them.
The blushes are on the pricier side and one blush costs £28. But in my mind they are worth investing in.
