I can't believe that it is 2016! I fell like last year went by so fast and way to quick. I hope for this year that it goes a little bit slower so I have a chance to enjoy this year.
For my beauty year I have discovered the whole highlighter and brow world. These two things have been something that I have enjoyed learning and discovered the past year. The past few months of 2015 I really discovered highlighters and that is why there aren't any, beside one, highlighter products in this post.
On my favorite moments from 2015 are getting into my dream education and being able to study the program I really want. Also I have had some great moments with friends and family, and I am looking forward to a new year with lots of new good memories.
My favorite foundation of the year have been the L'Oréal Infallible 24H-Matte Foundation. I have used this foundation ton last year. I love this foundation. It gives a beautiful finish, a nice texture, and the pigmentation of this foundation is beautiful. I have used up one and I am almost running out of the second one that I have going right now.
The concealer that really blew my mind were the Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer. This concealer is amazing. I like the consistency and the pigmentation. A good thing about this foundation is that it is great underneath the eyes as well as on blemishes and redness. I am a huge fan of this concealer.
Some powders that I found very lovely last year are the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder palette. In the spring I bought the Ambient Lighting Powders palette and I absolutely love the palette. In the palette you get three colors and all of them have each purpose. There are one for all over the face, on for highlight, and one for bronzing up the face. I can differently tell that I need to get my hands on one other shade and maybe get the bronzing shade in the full size.
Three blushes that I have been obsessed with and are the blushes that I have used the most this year have been the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Luminous Flush, the NARS blush in Deep Throat and the Max Factor Creme Puff Blush in Lavish Mauve.
The Hourglass blush is a bautiful blowy pink color and adds a healthy pink glow to the cheeks. The NARS blush is a lovely pink, this adds a nice flush to the cheeks and the Max Factor blush add a pinky nude color to the cheeks. Since these blushes came out I have collected the rest of the colors in the collection and I am heard over heels over these blushes.
When it comes to single eyeshadows I don't normally use them, I prefer to use a palette. But there have been a eyeshadow collection that just hit my heart. The L'Oréal Color Riche L'Ombre Pure Single eyeshadows. These eyeshadow are incredible. I love the texture, the pigmentation, and the colors. My favorite one have been 200 Over The Taupe. I like to apply this all over my lid and I am go to go for the day.
There have been two palettes that really did it to me last year. I got these while I was in New York City and these palettes have been my go to once for travel or smaller trips.
Both palettes comes from Clinique and are the All About Shadow 8-pan Palette. I have the palettes in Wear Everywhere Nudes and Neutral Territory 2. Wear Everywhere Nudes are pink toned nude eyeshadows. When ever I want something pink on my eye I go for this one. Neutral Territory 2 are your typical natural eyeshadows. In here there are a mix of bronze and some golden eyeshadows. Both of these palettes have been very loved the past year.
Last year I really gave my eyebrows more love that I have ever done. There are two brow products that have been ground braking for me last year. I have one drugstore and one high end.
The high end that I have love during last year were the Anastasia Beverly Hill Brow Wiz. I am obsessed with this product. I really like it. It have a fine and precise nib where the products it and at the there end you have a spooley so you can make the brows look more natural.
The drugstore on are kinda the same but not. The product I have been loving from the drugstore comes from L'Oréal and are the Brow Artist Pencil and I am mine in the color Blond. You have the product at one end and a spooley at the other. You can't really go wrong with this product while applying it to the eyebrows. I doesn't apply that much product but it is very buildable so it is easy to get the brow shape and color you want.
A few lipsticks that I have been loving are the MAC Peach Blossom and the NARS Satin Lip Pencil in Rikugien.
The MAC lipstick have been my go to nude and when I just want something something on my lips.
The NARS lip pencil are also a nude color. I received this one in my birthday gift from Sephora last March. This color is my perfect lip color. You can't really see it on but you can see that I have something on my lips, if that make any sense?
These two color have been my go to lip colors this year. I haven't found anything else that are like them.
These were all of my favorites from last year. At least the products that I really have loved the past year. I am looking forward to a new year with a lot of new beauty products and more new discoveries.
