And since my skin has not been so good I have been using a foundation almost everyday. I normally use a tinted moisturizer or a BB cream. But this month has been different.

I am a shopaholic when it comes to makeup. I love buying and trying new makeup. So this month is no excuse not to buy any new makeup. But from the 1st of June I am not allowed to buy any new makeup until I go on holiday in the middle of July. I have done a 'makeup no buy' before and I have kept not buying any new makeup, when I have done these in the past. This is just to try other products that I have in my collection instead of buying new products all the time.
I bought few things that I wanted to buy in New York but did do so I bought them in this month instead.

I have heard so many great things about this concealer but yet I had never tried it until I bought it on my trip to America.

Over this weekend I have some things happening today and tomorrow, Saturday. Today I have my friend's birthday party thing and tomorrow I have a big family party thing.
Since I am doing two big things this week I thought that I would show you guys what I will be wearing on my face both today and tomorrow. Since both of the things I am going to this weekend are something that will last for hours I want my makeup to last for a really long time.

Timblr Time #16

When I saw this, when I bought the original Lorac palette, I knew I needed this palette in my life.
I was pretty pleased to buy both of the palettes and I have love both of the palettes since I bought them.

Top row (left to right) Buff - LT Brown - Cool Gray - Nectar - Plum - Navy - Charcoal - Black
Bottom row (left to right) Snow - Beige - Rosé - Mocha - Chrome - Silver - Jade - Cocoa

This Lorac palette looks like the original Lorac palette in appearance of the packaging. The packaging is the same cardboard packaging, just in a gray color instead of a black. The packaging and the finish is the same bides from the color of the palette.
It is al so the same concept with 16 eyeshadows inside. 8 mattes and 8 shimmer/satin/frosted eyeshadows.
When it comes to texture it is also the same. The shadows are buttery, easy to blend, buildable, smooth and soft. The eyeshadows inside of the palette works really well together. And this palette is one of the neutral to the collection. But this neural eyeshadow palette is different than to the other neutral eyeshadow palettes. There are a green, navy blue, plummy and then all of the pretty neutral color.
With all of the colors and finishes inside of the palette you can create a variety of looks.

The shades inside the palette:

Top row:
Buff ia s light yellow-toned matte beige
LT. Brown is a medium matte warm brown
Cool Gray is a matte cool-, gray-toned taupe
Nectar is a light matte peach color with orange undertones
Plum is a dark, matte, plummy purple color
Navy is a dark, true, matte navy color
Charcoal  is a medium-dark matte gray
Black is a medium-dark, matte black

Bottom row:
Snow is a brightened white with a frosted/metallic finish
Beige is a peachy champagne color with frost finish
Rosé is a peachy-copper metallic color
Mocha is a frosted, dark brown with slightly reddish under tones
Chrome is a grayish taupe color with a frosted finish
Silver is a light, metallic sliver
Jade is a medium-dark green (almost forest green) with olive undertones and a soft satiny shimmer
Cocoa is a rich reddish medium brown with a soft shimmer finish.

Some of my favorite eyeshadows from the matte row are; Cool Gray, Plum and I am a little bit excited about Navy. Some of my favorites from the shimmer row; Rosé, Mocha, Chrome and Cocoa.

I am as impressed with this palette as I was with the original Lorac Pro palette. I like the colors, the pigmentation, the buildable and the soft and smooth texture. I highly recommend this palette as well as the original Lorac Pro palette.

Love, Caroline Mathilde

I love avocados and I love guacamole. I especially love chunky guacamole. I think that almost everyone like guacamole. This guacamole is easy to make, don't take more that much time and the big plus is that you don't need a blender. And the great thing about guacamole is that you can eat this with everything.
I thought that I would share how I make my chunky guacamole.

You will need:
2 ripe avovados
4 cherry tomatoes or as many as you want
1/4 red or white onion
1 clove of garlic (I use 2 or 3 because I like garlic)
A splash of lemon juice
Salt and pepper

Peel the avocados and remove the stones. Then use a fork or a potato masher to mash the avocados up on a chopping board, after you have mashed the avocados up add them to a bowl.
Slice the tomatoes, onion and garlic and add them in the bowl with the avocados. Pop the lemon juice in the bowl and add salt and pepper.
And then it is just to mix all of the ingredients in the bowl together.

You can eat this with everything. I served it with 'homemade' tortilla chips.

Love, Carline Mathilde.

Lately the weather here in Denmark have been so wired. It have rained a lot and it have been windy and somedays it have been so good with the sun out and it have been hot.
So beside from the weather everything it going good here. Right now I am thinking a lot about my future. What I want to do with my life, when I can get my self to move out on my own and just get my life together.

I have been discovering some new music lately and some old favorites of mine. I found this guy, Ben Howard. I really really like his songs and his voice is amazing. James Bay has also been playing a lot on my phone. The 1975 is a band that I like so their album has also been playing a lot over the last few days.

Beside from the weather, the life thinking and the music, I just have spend some time with my family. I celebrated my sister and mine birthday together last last weekend. I helped my little sister learn how to ride a bike and just have been spending time with my grandparents.

What is your favorite song at the moment and how are the weather where you are?

I have never really been into baked blushes until I tried these blushes. I absolutely fell in love with the Milani Baked blushes when I tried them in America last month.

Milani Baked Blushes

I have never really been into baked blushes until I tried these blushes. I absolutely fell in love with the Milani Baked blushes when I tried them in America last month.

Last month I bought these two nail polishes. For me it was a bit risky for me to buy a NailsInc nail polish because I haven't tried any NailsInc nail polishes before. But I have heard so many great things about these nail polishes so I needed to try and buy them. And I will say that I am very impressed with these two colors. These two nail polishes are made in a collaboration between NailsInc and Victoria Beckham.

Judo Red

Bamboo White

In the collaboration there are two different shades. The two colors in the collection is called Bamboo White and the other one is called Judo Red.

Bamboo White is a gorgeous cream white with undertones of a dusty rose/pink. Judo Red is a really beautiful orange red color. This is perfect for the summer time.

With both of the nail polishes I use two coats to get the color I want.

All in all I am really impressed with these two nail polishes and I am also really impressed with the quality with the polishes. And the packaging is amazing. I like the matte nail polish bottles and that you can see the nail polish color on the side of the bottle.

Have you tried the NailsInc Victoria Beckham nail polishes? And do you have any other NailsInc recommendations?

Love, Caroline Mathilde.

I have been switching up my makeup over the last few weeks. I have been pulling out some bronzers and some more pinky blushes. My skin have not been the bast over the last few weeks and now so I have used a foundation for the weeks where I have needed it and still need it.

So the foundation I have am using are the L'Oréal Infallible Pro Matte foundation. This foundation is incredible. I like the coverage that this foundation give. It covers the things I want to be covered and the finish of this is amazing. Like I said my skin does not have it so good right now so I need some concealer to cover up the blemishes that the foundation didn't cover. And for that I am using the MAC Studio Finish Concealer. This covers up that things that you want to cover on your face. I really like this concealer.
To mattify my t-zone I am using a light and transparent powder. I really like the Rimmle London Stay Matte Powder. This does the job, it mattify my t-zone and keeps it matte all day.
To give my soon a little bit more life I will be using the Bourjois Bronzing Powder. I just use this to bronze up my face and give it a little bit more life.
A blush that are new to my collection are the Max Factor Cream Puff Blush in color Lavish Mauve. This blush just adds a bit more lift to my face. The color is a nude brown color.

Moving on to what I have on my eyes. I have been loving wearing a cream eyeshadow all over my lid and then that will be it for my eyeshadow/cream. The cream eyeshadow I am using comes from Benefit in the color R.S.V.P. This is a beautifully pinky champagne color. This just adds a bit more color ad life to the eyes.
For the brows I have been using a new product for awhile now and I am absolutely in love with it. I am using the L'oréal Brow Artist in 301 Blond. I really like this eyebrow pencil and it is the perfect match for my eyebrow color. To set my brows in place I am using the Maybelline Great Lash in Transparent. This is just a really good eyebrows gel from the drugstore.
For my eyelashes I will be using the L'Oréal False Lash Flutter mascara. I have mentioned before that I am not the biggest fan of this mascara but I am getting to like this a little bit more. For my lower lashes I am using the Clinique Bottom Lash mascara. This is just the perfect for the lower lashes.

The lash thing that I will apply is a lipstick. I recently found this lipstick in my collection. this lipstick comes from Lipstick Queen. This lipstick is from the summer collection they do. and are in the color Perfect Wave. This lipstick this a pink lipstick and can be build up from a light pink color to a intense pink color.

So this is what I have on my face today. This is different from what I usual use in my face and the only reason for that is my skin. When it fells a little bit better I will go back to wearing a lighter makeup for an everyday.

What do you have on your face today? And which one of the product that you have one your face is your favorite one?

I had one mission when I was in Amaeica last month and that was to get the Lorac Pro Palette home with me. And I was the mod excited when I found this palette. I hold the palette tight to me until I bought it like a crazy person.
And now I have had it in my collection for a month now and I am in love with it.

Top row (left to right) White - Cream - Taupe - LT. Pink - Mauve - Sable - Espresso - Black
Bottom row (left to right) Nude - Champagne - Gold - LT. Bronze - Pewter - Garnet - Deep Purple - Slate

This palette is another neutral eyeshadow palette. Inside of the palette there are 16 colors. Half of them are matte shades and the other half are shimmer/satin shades. This eyeshadow palette are more on the warm neutral side.
The palette itself is thin and really travel-friendly because is have a mirror inside and it has eyeshadow for every look you want. The packaging is slim, a cardboard case (which I am not the biggest fan of) and have a smooth finish. The finish of the packaging is like the NARS finish and it gets dirty fast.
First things first the pigmentation of these shadows are amazing. You just touch them and then they  are on the finger or the brush. The texture of the shadows is soft, smooth and buttery. They just glide on the lids so easily.
They are easy to work with and they blend beautifully. They eyeshadows stays on for hours and does not move.
The finishes of the shadows is a mixture of mattes, shimmer and satin/frost finishes. All of the colors are in the natural spectrum of the color scale.

The eyeshadows in the palette:

Top Row:
White is a basic matte white color.
Cream is a pale matte beige with warm undertones.
Taupe is a matte, warm-toned, medium-dark brown with a hint of gray.
LT. Pink is a pale, matte, light pink.
Mauve is a matte, muted, pink-plum.
Sable is a medium-dark, matte, warm brown.
Espresso is a deep, dark, matte brown.
Black is a medium-dark, matte black.

Bottom Row:
Nude is a warm, champagne beige with a frosted finish.
Champagne is a rosy-tinted and champagne color with shimmer.
Gold is a rich, medium-dark copper with a frosted finish.
LT. Bronze is a warm-toned peach with a frosted finish.
Pewter is a medium-dark brown with shimmer.
Garnet is a  muted copper with reddish-brown undertones and shimmer.
Deep Purple is a blackened purple with warm brown undertones and shimmer.
Slate s a deeoened, coll-toned charcoal gray with shimmer

There are a few favorites in this palette and I want to give them a little shout-out. From the mattes I'm liking Taupe, Mauve and Sable. And from the shimmers/satin I'm liking LT Bronze, Pewter and Garnet.

Overall, I am impressed with this palette. The pigmentation is incredible, the texture is soft and smooth, it has a good mis of finishes (matte, shimmer, satin/frost). All in all a really great palette with great neutral eyeshadows in it.
So if you can get the your hands on this palette I would really recommend it.

Have you tried this palette? And if you have I really want to hear what you think about this palette.
And if you have any suggestions on dupes for this palette please let me know.

When I saw these coming out in the UK I was pretty excited about it. So as soon they got out here in Denmark I went to the stores and bought two of the colors that I liked.

In total there are six shades. In Denmark there are only four shades and I got two of the shades.
I have not seen a product like this in the drugstore here in Europe so I was super happy about these when they came out.

(left to right) Lavish Mauve and Nude Mauve

(left to right) Lavish Mauve and Nude Mauve

(left to right) Lavish Mauve and Nude Mauve

There are a lot of beauty people that says the these blushes are lookalikes to the Hourglass blushes. Now i have not tried the Hourglass blushes yet so I can't really say if they are dupes to the Hourglass blushes or not.
The hole idea behind these blushes are a lightweight baked formula blush. And I think that they have really hit that.

The shades blend beautifully and are quite buildable. And the pigmentation of these are amazing. I am very impressed with these blushes.
The formulation of these blush are soft and smooth. They gild really easily on the cheeks.

The two colors that I have are Lavish Mauve and Nude Mauve. Lavish Mauve is a nude brownish color and Nude Mauve is a pinky-brown colors. I like both of the colors on the cheeks. I think that these two colors would look great on light to medium skin tones.

Now that i have tried these two colors I really want to get my hands on the last four shades. I think that the drugstore have been missing something like this. The price of these blushes are a total of £8.99 each which I found as a bargain for the beautiful pigmentation and formula.

Have you tried any of the Max Factor Creme Puff blushes? And if you have what do think about them?

I have been eyeing this contouring palette for a while before I got this so few weeks back I bought this beauty.
My love for Anastasia products has grown over the last couple of months. And this product is incredible amazing. This product is a sleek black slim case that inside held six amazing product. There are three amazing highlighters and three contouring/bronzing shades. You have every thin you'll need in this palette to create a perfect contour and highlight look.

Top row (left to right) Vanilla, Banana and Sand.
Bottom row (left to right) Java, Fawn and Havana.

(left to right) Vanilla, Banana and Sand.

(left to right) Java, Fawn and Havana.

The American beauty people have been talking on and on about this product for months. But here in Denmark this product is not that easy to get a hold on. I ordered my of from BeautyBay.
I am slowly getting into the hole contouring and highlighting thing. So this palette is amazing for that.

There are a thing that I think are missing in this palette is there are no mirror in the palette. If this palette had a mirror is would be even more perfect. That is my only down side to this palette.

Beside the little down side I am amazed by this product. The powder inside the palette are long-lasting, pigmented and blendable. All the usual great stuff in those types of products.
The top row is the highlighter row and contains the colors (left to right) Vanilla, Banana and Sand. Vanilla is a highlighter shade, but it is without shimmer. That means that it is nice to highlight one the brow bone and on the center of the face if you don't want any thing with shimmer in.
Banana is a yellow-toned powder. This powder is great to set the under-eye concealer. This is also great to put on the areas on the skin where there are redness.
Sand is a really nice highlighter. This highlighter has a satin finish. There are shimmer in it but it is super fine. This highlighter has a peachy kind of color so it looks super natural on the face.
On the bottom row are all the contouring colors (left to right); Java, Fawn and Havana.
Java is a great warm matte brown color. I mix this color with on of the other colors to get a nice bronze color.
Fawn is the hole star in this palette in my eyes. This is the contour shade in this palette. It is a great gray toned brown and amazing to to the cheekbones that you'll always have been wanting if you don't have them.  It looks super natural when you really make you're time with this powder.
Havana is warmer matte brown. More warmer that the other matte brown in the palette and more orange that the other contour powders in the palette. This is the color is mix with Java to get an amazing bronze color.

All in all I am impressed with this palette. I don't have anything like this in my collection. I like that you have everything in on palette. I like to experiment with contouring and get those cheekbones that I don't have popping out of my face to shine through.

Have you tried this palette? And if you have what did you think about it?

Say Hello To The Cheekbones Thanks To Anastasia Beverly Hills

I have been eyeing this contouring palette for a while before I got this so few weeks back I bought this beauty.
My love for Anastasia products has grown over the last couple of months. And this product is incredible amazing. This product is a sleek black slim case that inside held six amazing product. There are three amazing highlighters and three contouring/bronzing shades. You have every thin you'll need in this palette to create a perfect contour and highlight look.

Top row (left to right) Vanilla, Banana and Sand.
Bottom row (left to right) Java, Fawn and Havana.

I use makeup tools/brushes every day so I thought that I would show you guys which beauty tools/brushes that I am loving right now.
I believe that a great makeup product is only good if you use the correct beauty tool/brush to apply it with.
I think that the makeup tools and brushes aren't being talked that much about, they're the backbone of a great beauty routine and make all the difference when creating a flawless look.
Here are the three beauty tools/brushes that i am currently loving.

Today it is all about my favorite songs or albums right now. I like listing to music on my way to work, home from work and just during that day. I like listing to new music all the time.
But today it is about the song or albums that I am currently loving.

Some albums that I am loving right now comes from Lorde and Maroon 5.
A few weeks back I heard one of Lorde songs in the radio and I wanted to hear more of her music.
I like that the songs have a sensitivity and a great wordplay that blend point and simplicity seamlessly without ever leaving the listener feeling left out. I think that her voice is amazing and I can listing to it over and over again. I love every single track on Pure Heroine. Some of my favorite songs on the album are; Royals, Tennis Courts and A World Alone.
Before I went to New York I bought Maroon 5's latest album, V. I am a huge Maroon 5 lover and I have loved them for years.
I have been listing to this album since I bought it. I like the beat of the songs on the album. The songs is a ear-hanger when you first have heard the songs. And I really like the lyrics the songs have.
Some of my favorite songs; Leaving California, Sugar and Unkiss Me.

Some of the songs I am currently loving:
Taylor Swift - Shake It Off. I like the beat of this song. And whenever I fell a bit down I hear this song and get in a better mood.
MKTO - Classic. Again I am in love with the beat of the song. And the lyrics are amazing.
Olly Murs - Beautiful to Me. I really like the lyrics of this song.
Foster The People - Pumped Up Kicks. This song is a good jam song in the car. I like the beat and the lyrics together. This song is amazing.

These are the songs and albums that I am currently obsessed with right now. My choice of songs is changing all the time. But right now this is what I am listing to.

If you guys have any song recommendations let me know. I love finding new music and getting music recommendations.

Can it be May already? I can't believe that it is May now. I fell like last week it was January. Being a little bit out of breath right now just by thinking about it.  Nevertheless, there are lots of good things in my program this month and also quite a few things I want to remember to achieve, so my wish for the sweet month are below.

10 Things I Want To Do In May

Can it be May already? I can't believe that it is May now. I fell like last week it was January. Being a little bit out of breath right now just by thinking about it.  Nevertheless, there are lots of good things in my program this month and also quite a few things I want to remember to achieve, so my wish for the sweet month are below.

The spring has really come to Denmark over the last few weeks. Over the last two weeks the sun has come out some days and some days the water was just coming from the skies.
But beside the weather my mood has been better, I have been more outside and I have spend some this the the people I love.

Last weekend I spend my Saturday on a food-market in Copenhagen. At the food-martket there were some amazing food and sweets. I found a great booth with some chocolate. I just looked at the chocolate and wished that I could get every single chocolate with me home. But i ended up not getting any thing for myself at that booth.

I have been doting the same things as always, spend some time with my friends and family and then I have been working.

What have you been doing for the last two weeks?

Over the last month I have bought a few things that I really want to use more. So a few things in this post is new stuff that I just want to use to get to know them.

An old favorite of mine is the Urban Decay Naked palette. I love the original Naked palette. This palette has the best neural colors. I have not been using this for a few months now and now is the time for med to get back into using this. Like I said I really like this palette and it has some awesome eyeshadows in it.
A new product that I really want to use are the Milani Baked Blush in Doice Pink. I really like the Luminoso so I wanted to give this blush a go. The color of this blush is a pink blush with golden shimmer in. This color is perfect for the late spring and summer.
A base product that I bought last month is the L'Oréal Infallible Pro-Matte foundation. I have tried this once before but I can tell that I like it already. I like the finish of this foundation and the look that this gives.
I have two lip products this month. Both of them are in a crayon type of thing.
The first one comes from Isadora. I bought this last summer and kind of forgot it after buying it. But this product is amazing. The color is called Poppy Peony. The color itself is a bright pink color. A great spring and summer color.
The second lip product and the last product for this post comes from Maybelline. It is one of the color drama. I have a few of these colors and this is my favorite one. I like the formula of this. The formula is a matte on the lips but they still are moisturizing on the lips. The color is a dark berry with hints red in it.

This was all of the products that I am going to be focusing on this month.
