I wanted to show you some of my current top 5 favorites in the different beauty categories that I have. And today I want to show you guys my to 5 High End lipsticks. I don't have that many different brands to choose from, manly because most of my high end lipsticks are from MAC. But that does not matter.
For me, I have way to many high end lipstick that from the drugstore and I can not answer what that is. I just love the feeling when I buy a expensive lipstick that I have been wanting for a while and then just have it in my hands. That feeling are amazing.
The first from the left is one of my favorite high end brands and that is YSL. This lipstick is the Volupté Sheer Candy in color nr. 6. This lipstick is sheer on the lips, but is pigmented as a lipstick. The formula is so creamy and glossy on the lips and are long lasting. I have a few like this lipstick, but this is the most loved one of them. The color is an amazing sheer red and just adds that beautiful red tint to your lips.
The next is also from YSL and are in the Rouge Volupté finish. This lipstick is like the other one, they are super moisturizing and have a glossy finish. The consistency is very creamy and soft. I have a problem with most of my lipsticks and I need to apply them more that once during the day. But with this lipstick the pigmentation stays on for so long and don't need to be applied so many times during the day. This color is one of the darker color in my collection. The color nr. is 17 and are a berry color, but more in the reddish color scale.
YSL is always a top 5 mainly because of the pretty packaging, the amazing staying power and that they are super pigmented. I have never ever been disappointed with any thing that I have bought from them. And the packaging are AMAZING!!
The next three is all from MAC. I am a huge MAC lover and most of my high end lipsticks are MAC.
The MAC lipstick aren't as expensive as the YSL, but I think, with all the different formulas you can find something that will fit you personally. I have a "few" MAC lipsticks in my collection, so I like to use some different once in a while. At the moment my favorite once are (from left to right); Sunny Seoul, Plumful and Lovelorn. Sunny Seoul and Lovelorn are colors that I use almost every day, because they are in the pinkly color scale. And if I want to have a plum color on my lips I will go for Plumful.
