Last week I did a review on the Urban Decay Naked original Naked palette so I thought that I would do a review on the Naked 2 palette.

Like the original Naked palette this palette have 12 amazing shades and a full-length mirror going across the top. All of the eyeshadows are buttery and smooth to apply just like the eyeshadows in the original palette. And lets not talk about the pigmentation of this palette. It is AMAZING!
Like in the original Naked palette this palette have a mixture of different texture/finishes. This is one of the thing that I love about these palettes, there are some thing for every occasion.

The packaging has changed from the original Naked palette. I like the metal tin packaging it makes it look more simple and sleek. I kind go like that kind of packaging but I also like the girly looking packaging.

Like I said there are 12 eyeshadows in this palette. There are three matte in this palette (foxy, tease and blackout). The rest of them there are shimmer in the eyeshadows. If I could choose one color that I would not have in this palette, I would choose blackout and that is because I hardly use a matte black eyeshadow. They could replace it with a lighter darker color, if that makes sense.
I love that they put a matte highlighter shade in this palette instead of a glittery one.
This palette have some great natural shades in this palette and it also have some golden toned eyeshadows witch is amazing for warming up a look.

The shades:
Foxy: a matte pale yellowed beige
Half Baked: a golden toned bronze
Bootycall: a champange pinky color
Chopper: a mefium orange-red toned coppery color
Tease: a matte dirty mauve-brown
Snakebite: a dark bronzy color with a dirty golden shimmer
Suspect: a champangey-bronzy color
Pistol: a greyish-brown color
Verve: a gary-slivery color with pinky undertones
YDK: a warm coppery red toned medium brown
Busted: a burgundy, deep brown
Blackout: a really intense matte black

Comparing this to the original Naked palette, the Naked 2 contains more light metallic shades as well as more medium taupey colors. The original palette have more warm toned eyeshadows. I will be honest and say that I like the original Naked palette. There are just more 'me colors' in that palette. But with that said I really like some of the shades in this palette and some other of the colors a miss for me and I don't use that as much as I should.

Have you tried any go the Urban Decay Naked palettes? And if you have which one did you prefer?

Love, Caroline Mathilde
